When we say Danish Furniture we directly think about wooden chairs and tables with straight lines and natural feel.
Danish Design is more than that, it’s neutral but chic, timeless but bold, classic with a twist.

I have no philosophy, my favourite thing is sitting in the studio.Arne Jacobsen
Arne Jacobsen first designed the Jacobsen Egg Chair for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The Egg Chair presents one of Jacobsen’s triumphs of total design: a sculptural contrast to the building’s almost exclusively vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Since forging a famous partnership with Hans J. Wegner in the late 1940s, Carl Hansen & Søn has produced some of the designer’s most timeless pieces: the CH24 Wishbone Chair, CH25 Lounge Chair, and CH445 Wing Chair to name a few.
(dream about the CH24 in yellow!)
HAY furniture mixes the innovation of mid-century modern designs into a contemporary context, resulting in chairs, tables and accessories that are at once familiar and new.
